Imagine a world where fear can’t stay, Where every touch and word convey, A message strong: we’re here to care, To listen, to learn, and always share. In the quiet spaces where shadows loom, Where whispers hide and dark hearts bloom, Lies a truth too harsh to be ignored— A world where pain has deeply soared. In classrooms where young minds are shaped, We craft a future, unafraid. Not just of facts and figures tall, But of respect and justice for all. To teach a boy the power of touch, To understand that lines are such, That love is not a right, but a gift, And boundaries are never to be missed. It’s time to teach our boys, no means no, A lesson in respect that must be sown, In every heart, in every mind, To understand the truth, to be kind. For every “no” is a boundary clear, A line that’s drawn, a voice to hear. In the echoes of her silent cries, We must build a world where respect never dies. She wants to say, “I am more than just a choice,” A life with a value, a soul with a vo...

Literacy Day 2024

Imagine if you couldn’t read life-saving precautions such as the pandemic precautions, if you couldn’t count the change you were given in a shop. Imagine if you couldn’t stay informed bout a crisis, if you couldn’t spot fake news about alarming issues such as climate change. Imagine if you were unaware of the developments happening around you and still be living the life of the primates. Today, at least, one in seven young people and adults around the world still lack basic literacy and numeracy skills. That’s 763 million adults, two-thirds of whom are women. They are spread unevenly across regions, countries, and populations. Equipping people with literacy, numeracy, and digital skills can make a big difference in their lives and societies. It lays the foundation for further learning. Literacy is also an essential means of environmental awareness, embracing cultural differences, and practicing tolerance. It facilitates being an active member of society and contributing to protect...

😲😱Diwali without crackers 😱😲

Image
Should we obey the rule about crackers or do as we wish?   Diwali!! What a wonderful festival it is! It is one of India’s most important and biggest festival. But, without fireworks, it feels like a Diwali in lockup. Doesn’t it sound like a total disaster? It is an Indian religious festival known as the ‘festival of lights’ because the word Diwali itself means ‘row of lights’. After 14 years of exile, Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya on this day, after killing the demon king, Ravana, and it is celebrated as Diwali. When they came back to Ayodhya, everyone lit the kingdom with earthen diyas to help them find their way back home. That’s how Diwali started. This festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Not only Indians, but people outside India also celebrate Diwali with great joy of vigour and enthusiasm. Coming back to the main question- Should we obey the rule about crackers or do as we wish? This time government has allowed burning crackers from 8 pm to 10 pm. No...

Helping hands

Image
Hands are for helping                                    When I help others I feel really happy because when I see a smile on their faces I feel like smiling. I can help others by helping them carry bags. I help my mom by handing her the vegetables she needs while cooking. I also help my sister by helping her in her online class and her homework. I care for my grandmother and help her by massaging her feet whenever she is tired. Helping others is not only good for them and a good thing to do; it also makes us happier and healthier too. Helping others and our family also connects us to them, creating stronger bonds between us. If we help someone, we make it easier for them to do something like cooking or working. Always remember,...

Princess Melissa

Image
Princess Melissa     Once upon a time, there was a princess named Melissa in the kingdom, Cordoba. Melissa was a girl who hated people crying. Even when she was born, she didn’t cry. She just giggled. Everyone thought that she was special. And she surely was! In her whole life she never ever shed a tear. Even though, she lost her mother when she was only 2, she didn’t cry. One day, when she was 6 years old, she was looking through the balcony, when suddenly she heard someone calling her name. She went towards the sound and saw a letter near her foot. She read it and was shocked. Inside it was written, “Melissa, dear, if you’re reading this then please remember that that I am not dead but trapped with a witch. Please don’t search for me. Just remember NOT TO CRY. You’ll understand why when you will grow a little more. But for now, DO NOT CRY.” She was very disappointed as she realized that it was her mother. And she got...
